The Prompt Machine

A writer friend asked on Facebook if anyone knew any good online writing prompts that weren't for beginners or children and didn't have that "rubbed with the spirit crystal" vibe about them. The resulting comment stream more or less turned up nothing.
So the next day, we bought thepromptmachine.com. The day after that we wrote the (admittedly simple) PHP and jQuery and filled out the database with poetry and fiction prompts. The day after that it went live.
The Prompt Machine doesn't get overwhelming traffic, but what it does get is steady. Hopefully, those users are finding it helpful and getting some writing started. Because that's really the only point.
We plan in the future to add some more functionality, flesh it out further, make it a more powerful machine. If you have ideas on how to improve it, please let us know.
